EXPERIENCE: Finance and Administration Regional Manager. The company is an international consulting firm specialized in SAP technology. In this full time position G Montero is responsible for coordinating the administration, finance, accounting and contracting policies and procedures for the affiliated companies in Canada, USA, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru. President. Peruchamber Org is a private organization aimed to promote the use of information technology and communications as a means for economic development for micro and small enterprises in Peru. Formed in 2003, the company has been working with peruvian regional governments promoting business development through networking, IT, electronic commerce and business education for emerging entrepreneurs,trying to help them to do business together and to facilitate business operations in the global market via the internet. Regional Operations Support Office (ROS) . Nov 2003 - July 2004. As an Information Systems Contractor, Developed a web based information system to support the Executing Agencies of Bank Projects for the completion of the Bank's Procurement Standard Documents. The system was a pilot project and a component of the Bank's strategy on e_Procurement for the Latin America and the Caribbean Region.

Human Resources Department. June 2000 - Aug 2003. Information Systems Project Manager for the Development and implementation of the i) Online Job Applications and Recruitment System, ii) Institutional Staffing Plan, iii) Departmental Human Resources Action Plan and iv) the Management Information System for the Office of Learning of the Bank. The systems are web-based intranet systems using emerging technology tools and resources to integrate information solutions for the administration of the Bank human resources projects and activities.

Information Technology for Development Unit (ROS/IDU), March 1999, May 2000 April 1999 through December 2001, as an Information Technology Specialist provided technical support to the Bank's project teams for the formulation and evaluation of information technology and telecommunications components of Bank projects: Guyana: Information and Communication Technology National Project; El Salvador: ICT component for the Agricultural Reconvertion Project of the Minister of Agriculture; Colombia: Modernization of the Office of the General Comptroller, National Project.

Officer responsible for the promotion and dissemination of Internet and e_Commerce and e_Government technologies and opportunities in Latin America and the Caribbean. United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO).
Investment Centre, Roma / Office of FAO - Lima, Peru.

Under the sponsorship of the FAO Investment Centre (Rome, Italy) and as a part of a team of international consultants, worked in the conceptualization of a Strategy of Information and Communications Technology applied to Poverty Reduction in development countries. Successful cases of ICT intervention in the improvement or living conditions of small rural communities in Peru, were identified, and a general regional strategy was drafted as a result of the study.

As an Information Technology Specialist provided technical support for the development and inplementation of management information systems for small and medium industrial enterprises in Southern California. The company closed business in California in 1996.

The Andean Community - Former "Junta del Acuerdo de Cartagena" - (1986-1987)

Coordinated with governmental authorities and private associations of the Andean Region (Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia), the implementation of international agreements on tourism, transportation and trading interchange throughout the borders controls (Customs, Immigration, Agricultural and Health). Customs Administration, General Director (1984 - 1985) Remarks: Working in coordination with the representatives of the private industrial and commercial sector, updated and enhanced existing Customs regulations for export and import operations. Modernized the Customs Administration by issuing new internal administrative and systematic procedures and rules for the operations of freight forwarders and customs agents. Provided the institution with new resources for automation of the customs processes.

Public Treasure, General Director (1983 - 1984) -- Remarks: Directed the improvement of the Budget and Treasury Administration, issuing and implementing new rules and procedures for national financial control. As a member of the Oversight Committee for the implementation of the new on-line system for national budget control, coordinated the integration of the national budget expense accounts administration into the networked information systems of the Ministry of Economy, Federal Reserve Bank and the National Bank.

Systems Coordinator for the Tax Administration Reform (1982) -- Worked together with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Project Coordinator and officials of the national tax administration in a special project aimed to improve income tax collection effectiveness.

CONADE, (Corporacion Nacional de Desarrollo), Project Manager (1981) -- Designed the medium and long-term corporate strategic plan for systems development. This work was developed at the request of the Board of Directors covering the needs for the three corporations of the group: CONADE, COFIDE (Financial Corporation for Development) and INVERSIONES COFIDE (Investment Company).
